Roger Maris breaks home run record



On October 1, 1961, New York Yankee Roger Maris becomes the first-ever major-league baseball player to hit more than 60 home runs in a single season.  


Assignments in my classroom for Friday October 1st:
7th grade-  Class discussion over writing assignment in class & also a planner check.
6th grade-  Class discussion over writing assignment in class & also a planner check.
8th grade-  Discussed Ch 2 pages 20-25, after lunch we went to the Tranquility Corn Maze so 8-2 didn't meet Friday.
